Messen is situated in Ålvik, about 100 km from Bergen. It is a small town with a handful of houses, a supermarket, a school , a church and a big factory. Messen used to be part of the factory and was used as an office building/cantine. The Hardangerfjord is Messen’s garden. The views from all sides of the building are beautiful.

The Hardangerfjord is known for its breathtaking scenery and numerous waterfalls.
